This depends on the condition of your floor, the size of the application area, and the type of finish you select. Estimate about a week for 1,000 square feet. Overlays typically take longer due to the coloring process, the amount of time required between applications, and drying time.

Left unsealed, water can migrate into it and (if outside) make it susceptible to cracks from freezing and thawing. Sealers act as a wear surface and will protect your investment.

For acrylic sealant, we suggest once a year or at least once every two years. For polyurethane sealant, once every 3-4 years is recommended.

A decorative concrete overlay or micro top is as durable as the concrete it is bonded to and should last many years with the proper cleaning and maintenance as recommended.
